The children and the adults had a good
time at the National Zoo. The reptile house actually had reptiles
that moved. The invertebrate house was a surprise hit with sea
creatures, insects, spiders, and more. There were lots of hands
on things for the kids to do including an aquarium on a miniature
table with paper and pencils for the kids to draw what was inside
the tank. The gorillas were definitely a hit mainly because
the youngest ones always wanted to play. See the photo

The Chantilly Youth Association (CYA) Bull Dogs after
the trophies were presented at the last game of the season. See

Betsi's Dad and Step Mom rented a house on the beach in
Nags Head, NC and asked family members to join them for the week.
The house had the kitchen, dining room and family room on the third floor,
with 4 bedrooms on the second floor, and a single bedroom and carport
on the first floor. The house was on the beach and also had a swimming
pool, hot tub, several decks, and outdoor showers. Talk about being
