Ryan's last Pinewood Derby as a cub scout. See more

We drove to Baltimore for Jeff's birthday to watch jousting
while we eat dinner with our hands. Ryan thought that was cool. The
photos came out much better than I thought. See more

January 24, Saturday
Uncle Tom and Ryan play Guitar Hero head to head, while
Ainsley pretends three people can play against each other. Ryan
still beats Ainsley more often, but she does a good job of giving
him a run for his money.
January 27, Tuesday
FINALLY! Our first measurable snow fall of the
winter. Unfortunately, the two to three inches of snow turned
to rain, sleet and freezing rain on Tuesday. The commute home
was interesting for Jeff. The kids had Monday and Tuesday off
from school for the end of the quarter grading period.
January 28, Wednesday
School was closed Wednesday, so the kids took advantage
of an ice covered hill in the neighborhood.
January 31, Saturday
Poor Shadow. Betsi found her walking around the house. We wonder which 7 year old daughter of ours dressed her up in a Build-A-Bear outfit.
