While Ryan was asleep upstairs, we rang in the
new millennium with Brian Collins at his house in Reston.
Brian always hosts great parties and since this was the new millennium,
he pulled out all of the stops. We don't get to see Brian
as much as we'd like to as his job with EDS has taken him to Malaysia
for most of 1999 and Australia for most of 2000. We'll being
visiting Brian this August in Sydney, Australia.
On January 2nd, Melissa and Terry took us to
Jeff's first Redskins football game against the Miami Dolphins.
It was the first time all of us were at the new FedEx Field.
The Redskins advanced to the playoffs only to loose to Tampa the
following week. We had a great time. Betsi will be the
matron on honor for their wedding this October.
If Ryan is tired enough, I can put a hat on him.
In February, Ryan loved to sit on Poppy's ridding
lawn mower. We never turned it on and it never moved.
He just liked climbing up to the seat.
