Ryan bet Jeff couldn't take photos of him as he dashed from one side of the room to the other.  Out of about 20 photos, these were the best.

Ainsley shows off her temporary tattoos from her bag of halloween candy.

Ryan's last baseball game of the season was pushed back a week due to rain.  It was 45 degrees (6 degrees Celsius) by 2:00pm on this chilly Fall day.  They guys were a bit rusty the first few innings but things started clicking the last half of the game.  After the game, everyone attended the game party and trophy presentation.  See more photos.

Ainsley's kindergarten class sang about a dozen songs with their teachers, Mrs. Mitchell and Mrs. Lewis.  Emma and Ainsley are good friends.  See the video (4.8MB, 1:16).

It was a nice, sunny, 50 degree day (10 degrees Celsius), which isn't bad for mid-November.  Ryan was playing with some of his toys on the sidewalk while Ainsley rode his Razor (scooter).  She balances quite well on the scooter, but still needs training wheels for her bike.  Ryan has to ride it in his "mini" position.  As you can tell by our well manicured lawn, we take croquet very seriously.  :-)

Ryan's cub scout den takes four water samples at a nearby stream and learn about water quality.  Some of the kids thought it would be funny to wear their jackets backwards.  See more photos.

Betsi's Mom and Step-Dad moved into their new house in September and proudly hosted Thanksgiving dinner.  See more photos.

The day after Thanksgiving we stopped at Montpelier, VA on our way to Wintergreen for some R&R.  Montpelier is the home of the fourth president of the United States, James Madison.  The house was quadrupled in size after it was sold to the DuPont family.  It's now being resized to match the size when James Madison was president.  See more photos.

We spent the rest of the weekend after Thanksgiving at Betsi's Step-Mom's and Dad's condo in Wintergreen, VA.  Jeff took photos of the sunrise while all of us went on a hike around lunch time.  See more photos.

A few days of the mid-60s (18 Celsius) has confused our plants and shrubs to think it's springtime again.
