We spent a weekend at the condo in Wintergreen. Forty-five minutes away in Charlottesville is where Thomas Jefferson's Monticello home and the University of Virginia are located. See more photos here.

Jeff's parents and neices in Nags Head, NC. They rented a house 3 miles from where we rented a house. We stayed with them on Saturday and then moved to the other house on Sunday. It was good to see everyone again. |

We spend a lot of time with our neiborhood friends and decided to rent a house for the week in Nags Head, NC. Everyone got along well.

Below is the view from the third floor deck. The photo is boring, but the goal was to make my first panoramic photo. I used Photoshop Elements 4 to stitch 16 photos together. I didn't set everything on the camera to manual like I should have and that's why the sky is multiple shades of blue. I set the zoom to 50mm and rotated the camera to change only 1/3 of the image in the viewfinder. It worked out to be 16 photos. Stitching these photos together is when a fast processor and a lot of RAM make a big difference in speed.
